This is said to be one of the oldest occupations as people needed to harvest the wool to make garments and clothe their homes. Then in 1880 the electric system took over. 
 
It is a dying art and tradition and I’m all about saving those! So, mostly self taught I blade shear my own flock and others (120 of them!) I have travelled to The Netherlands to shear in their sheep shearing festivals and have taught many people this skill over the years and with the convenience of online learning I can now offer this tutorial via zoom across the world. 
 
I have created this opportunity to help fellow shepherds / shepherdess’s  starting out in farming and shearing to learn a trade that’s not only more sociable, it’s much less stressful for the sheep. 
 
The zoom will be flexible in timing and i’ll be open to questions after the initial display and teaching. The video will be sent to you afterwards to keep and download so you can use for future reference.
